James Lobato completed cosmetology school in 1977. He became the highest requested hair designer in the seven state western region for the Glemby International Corporation. His passion for hair led him to becoming a highly requested guest artist taking him around the world presenting at the largest hair and beauty shows in Canada, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Italy, Germany, Turkey, England, Mexico, Greece and the West Indies. James has presented his work in forty three states at the most prestigious hair shows in the country. During this time James opened a successful salon and cosmetology school sharing his knowledge and creativity with his salon staff and future hair designers. James has served on artistic councils for such product manufacturers as Zotos, Dow Brands and Matrix. His editorial work was published in many trade magazines including Hair Dressers Journal , Modern Salon, and Coifure Q . His creative stylings have appeared on several product marketing campaigns. James now owns and manages James Salon, an Aveda Lifestyle Salon in Greeley ,Colorado. James continues to help in the development of future hair designers and services a request only clientele.
